Back to the work week....

Wow did the weekend fly by or what?

I went out to dinner with my Kristi for my birthday Friday night - my husband and son were invited and came along also. It was so enjoyable - though the restaurant was busy we were in a corner and just enjoyed each other's company. It was great fun and relaxing - definitely a NEED TO DO AGAIN thing! Then after landing back at home I stayed up until 1:00 a.m. Friday night working on some crafts for the Relay for Life at my husband's office as they were having a bake/craft sale on Saturday. I hope they got something out of what I did - it was cute but by 1:00 a.m. I was beat and didn't get a picture taken - I meant to take one and post it on here for the world to see just how talented I am (HA)!

I went to WW on Saturday a.m. and that was not so good on the scales. I had a gain but I think it got me back on track - it has been a hard month for me with vacation, being sick and being stressed about some things in my life. I am finding myself focusing on other things rather than ME and MY LIFE and CHOICES I NEED TO MAKE FOR ME! I need to get my life back on track and focus on ME again and not the things going on around me in my world.

After the big weigh in I spent some time at Crop, Paper, Scissors - that store never ceases to amaze me - the new products keep coming in and of course I need to add more to my collection.

Throw in a soccer game there at noon on Saturday - one more to go and then we are done for the season. It is always fun to watch the kids play.

Saturday night the Lewiston Chamber was having Bunco at The Elks - it was free and you had a chance to win some cash and gift cards so what better way to spend the evening than with 500 of your closest friends - HA! It was great fun though! I saw people I knew and things move along so quickly that you really don't have time to let people start bugging you (or at least some people do me - get on my nerves)....so it was great! Ang spent the evening hanging out with Savannah and Kristi and he had a great time there - he watched some movies and played games! He was beat when he got in the car but said he had a great time! THANK YOU for watching him!

Sunday I finally got to sleep in (11:30 a.m.), that is bad for me! Then we all got ready for the day and headed out to a friends 1st Communion Celebration, she was so sweet in her dress. She is a great little girl and cute! Nice family.

Sunday afternoon was spent with my parents and then a quick Costco trip to pick of some necessities. Ang stayed with grandpa while we ran to Costco and he wasn't all to happy about that - but it is nice to have some time to go to Costco without a child pestering you for this and that!

So here we are Monday morning and a new week, hoping for the best in my life as well as yours!

Celebrate the sunshine today and perhaps Spring is here to stay this time!
